MetaMask is an extension for the Ethereum browser
MetaMask allows users to view Ethereum’s blockchain from within their browser. This extension allows users to conduct Ethereum transactions directly from their web browser.
How does it work?
MetaMask adds Ethereum’s Javascript API to any website. The extension can read information stored in the Blockchain when you visit a web page. This includes the Ethereum addresses of all wallets and their associated balances. It also includes the Ethereum address, balance of contract address, number of transactions, and other information.
A wallet is created immediately after a user signs in to MetaMask. This wallet allows the user to move tokens between addresses, withdraw funds, and transfer them between wallets.
